Tres Hombres Coffee (Fairtransport)

Coffee carried by an engineless 1943 brigantine.

Tres Hombres is the engineless brigantine of Fairtransport, restored by volunteers after three friends found the hull in 2007. Each year she crosses the Atlantic on wind alone with up to 40 tonnes of organic, fairly traded cargo — including Colombian coffee from the women-led Cooagronevada cooperative and coffee from the Dominican Republic, roasted in Amsterdam.
